Article Types
- Original Research Articles (4000–6000 words): Original theoretical or empirical studies that that test, extends, or builds management theory and contributes substantially to the global management literature.
- Review Papers (4000–6000 words): Systematic or narrative reviews that synthesize current understanding and suggest future directions of research.
- Case Studies and Practice Notes (2000–4000 words): Real-world cases of international commercial operations, cross-border tactics, trans-national leadership issues, and leadership dynamics in multinational corporations.
- Conceptual Papers (4000–6000 words): Scholarly analyses that create novel global management frameworks, models, or concepts.
- Policy Briefs and Commentary (2000–4000 words): Commentaries on new global business trends, regulatory developments, international corporate policies, industry insights and practitioner articles that provide evidence-based perspectives on current global management challenges.
- Book Reviews (1000–3000 words): Critical evaluations of contemporary works on international and global management.

Ethical Considerations
- Only original submissions will be entertained for publication. Any revised manuscript (revised version of a published manuscript) will not be considered. To consider the revised version for publication, the author should give an undertaking that a minimum of 80% is new information with repeated verbatim of a maximum 250 successive words, as properly cited from the previous published script.
- Authors must electronically sign the Transfer of Copy Right agreement form available in the journal web site.
Plagiarism Policy
- JGMR adheres to strict plagiarism checking prior to acceptance for publication.
- Manuscripts with more than 15% plagiarism will be subject to rejection.
Submission Process
- The authors should ensure that the manuscript submitted has not been published earlier or is not under review for publication elsewhere. The journal is not responsible for any legal compensation claim in case of any discrepancies.
- Data Transparency: Any overlap with previously published or used data sets must be explicitly disclosed in the cover letter. A fully anonymised data transparency table must be provided to facilitate masked review.
- The authors should obtain permission for print and online format of any published figures, tables or any text used in the script.
- All scripts should be submitted electronically and in English language through the editorial system available in the journal home page.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- JGMR does not charge any submission or processing fee for the manuscripts.
Peer Review Process
The Journal of Global Management Research employs a double-blind peer review system, wherein the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. The review workflow is as follows:
- Manuscript Submission via the Online Journal Management System.
- Editorial Desk Review: An initial assessment of the manuscript's suitability concerning the journal's scope and adherence to basic guidelines.
- Plagiarism Screening: Manuscripts passing the desk review are screened for plagiarism using specialized software (e.g., Turnitin).
- Suitable manuscripts are sent to expert reviewers for evaluation based on criteria including, but not limited to:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Methodological soundness and rigor
- Clarity of argument and quality of writing
- Depth and relevance of the literature review
- Significance of theoretical, managerial, or policy implications
- All the scripts will be subject to double-anonymized peer review process before being accepted for publication.
- Reviewers are selected based on relevant experience with a recognised academic affiliation.
- The review process will have a turnaround period of 4 to 6 weeks.
Revision Process for Authors
- Authors are expected to execute the corrections as per the comments of the reviewers and submit the revised script within the stipulated time.
- Addressing to the comments of the reviewers should be indicated in the revised script.
- Revisions are to be submitted within a week for minor revision and fortnight for major revision.
- Any extension of the time may be addressed to the editor-in-chief.
Final Decision
- Submission of revised script does not guarantee the acceptance of the script for publication.
- The revised submission is subject to review process and the journal endeavours to complete this process within 4-5 months.
- The decision of the editor is final.
